Low business buy-in, strong dependency of internal IT and outdated ERP backbone, only logistics and webshop were e-commerce enabled, no shared roadmap.
My role and approach
A shared process view (E2E) aligned business and IT, reduced risk and stabilised a critical IT backbone transition.

High commitment, clear roadmap and big picture of the risks to face, reduced dependency on internal technical focused stakeholders and a stable foundation for the incoming programme lead.
Stalled IT integration from 5 companies with 3,500 employees and EUR 15 million IT budget, lost financial transparency, rising risk.

As Interim CIO, IT governance, cost control, and delivery credibility based on the Microsoft ERP landscape with CAD and configurator were restored after 9 months.

Budgets released, PMO established, execution stabilized – IT repositioned as a controllable asset for investors.
